Andy thoroughly surveyed our belongings and quickly got a quote to us. Rhonda had meticulous follow-up with scheduling and handling last minute packing list changes. Exceptional care was taken by the moving crew in packing our furniture, and our wood floors were covered with runners to prevent damage. Despite having some very large, very heavy furniture, not a single mark was made on the walls. We highly recommend NDMS.

This was by far the best moving experience I have had! I have moved quite a bit recently and have encountered some sketchy business practices. However there were no such issues with this company. They arrived on time, were professional, friendly, and handled our belongings with care. You can really tell that they pride themselves on top notch customer service and I couldn't be more impressed. The one feedback I have is for a little better communication and proactive follow up when drafting the contracts. However, it didn't impede or interfere with our phenomenal experience. I give this company and their corp. staff the highest rating possible. Our move was more complicated than most. We not only moved from Dallas to Montana, but had to store our furniture in their facility for almost 1 year. There were 2 key factors that have gone into this reivew. #1-Rhonda was an absolute professional. She was gracious, kind, and always asking how she could help us. I would never use this company again.The paperwork that suggests your belongings are protected by insurance is a sham. They irresponsibly packed up my house, destroying a huge tv because they didn't bring a proper tv box. They rigged two large picture boxes together then placed the tv FACE DOWN on a marble coffee table.They threw blankets over vintage, irreplaceable leather chairs, ripping and destroying one of them.The super/driver NAPPED in the truck during delivery. The unloaders jumped dollys (full of breakable china and crystal) down 2 step drop offs, never bothering to get a second set of hands or going down backwards slowly and carefully. And the reimbursement process is a terrible beating, they paid an infinitesimal fraction of the value of the broken items, even refusing to pay even close to market value for the tv, even tho it was still available new and unboxed on amazon. They showed some ancient low level tv st with NO features that resembled the tv of ours that they destroyed. They used feeble excuses to defend their sketchy reimbursement/replacement policys.The sign-up papers lead you to believe you are fully covered when indeed you are not. Coupled with horrendous staff, I can only say STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!

To whom it may concern.....The following description of details shall serve as my formal review and the subsequent claim I am making against, and my COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION with, North Dallas Moving and Storage, and their company president, Brandon Morris, for a move I made from Weatherford Texas to Santa Ynez California in late October, 2018.I contracted with North Dallas Moving (through their sales agent Jim Carollo) last October 2018 for my move from Weatherford Texas to Santa Ynez California. My move was extensive, and I not only paid for additional insurance, but I also paid for their 3rd party agent (contracted directly by and between No. Dallas Moving and the subject 3rd party, solely) to specially wrap and “crate” several very valuable items, including a pool table, numerous art works, special pieces of high value antique furniture, as well as a couple items of custom items of furniture. My move totaled over $27,000, and I was directed that my possessions would not be “offloaded” at the California destination without North Dallas’s main driver (who was present at both the move’s location of origin, as well as the final destination) being presented with a certified money order at the initial time of arrival at the new destination. Not only was North Dallas’s main driver (and point man) verbally abusive of me, and my daughter, as the day progressed, but when 4:00 came along, and the movers were still far from being finished, the same main driver/point man started to verbally attack and harass me, which I have both an audio and video recording of; at that time, following the direction of the same man who had verbally assaulted me, the team of other movers literally started throwing and heaving items off the truck, even the items that had been specially wrapped, packed and/or crated. Although it had required two 10 hour days to pack and load the vans when leaving Texas (and that did not account for the third day for their “specialty packing and crating team” to do their part of the job), the main driver/point man (who was at both locations) declared after eight hours at my new home location, that his team from North Dallas Moving, who I had solely contracted with, and had already paid in full, for the entire move, from start to finish, was not responsible for, nor were they going to stay for more than the first eight hour day? In their rush to get finished and done, the men were finally throwing my possessions from the truck, whether they were crated and clearly marked as “Fragile” (by the exact method the No. Dallas moving team in Texas had instructed us to use), whether it was a desk, multiple chairs or antique Italian Olive jars, it was all being discarded from the moving van, with zero care being extended or employed.I immediately contacted my No. Dallas Moving representative when the inappropriate verbal attacks, abusive and harassing behavior started on that first day, but because of the time difference, between California and Texas, on that initial day of unloading, etc.... I wasn’t successful in reaching anyone at the Texas office. My attempts to explain the actions and that horrible day were repeated over and over again for the next several weeks, and was only passed from one office to another; all attempts to frustrate and thwart my determination to obtain some satisfaction and accountability from North Dallas Movers. It is now almost an entire year later, and I have yet to receive any satisfaction; I have written statements from the third party No Dallas Agents hired to uncrate my valuable items at the California location, and their own accounts clearly state the amount of damage done to the “specially crated items” was unprecedented, and they weren't even able to put my custom pool table together due to the extent of damage done.....broken leg, and significantly cracked side board. Additionally, I have written reports from their other third parties sent to inspect my claims, as well as a written receipts of purchase and statements of value for the items that were so irreparably damaged.......but still no satisfaction! The verifiable ACTUAL DAMAGES owed to me is in excess of $50,000; yet still.....nothing from North Dallas Moving Company? They manage to “pass the buck” and shift focus, by redirecting every phone call of inquiry between different offices of either No. Dallas Moving or the parent company, United Van Lines.......but even, with written verification of added insurance, additional crating charges by agents of No. Dallas Movers, numerous other statements verifying the damage, original purchase receipts, and the corresponding value; as well as a video and audio recording of abusive, verbal assaults and harassing behavior by No. Dallas Moving’s employee, and I’m still left with the only option of chasing justice and recompense, in channels such as this! As such, I intend to publish this account of the incident, and personally pursue this matter as far as I need to take it! A smart lawyer once relayed to me.....”the truth is a powerful defense!” Thankfully, I still have that on my side! Respectfully, M. Capone

The crew that loaded our items, was efficient and tidy. Everything arrived in the same condition it was packed in. The delivery driver gave me a date for delivery and arrived exactly on time. The crew that unloaded our items at destination was polite, helpful, and also careful. I would highly recommend using them for a cross country move. Everything arrived in good condition. The guys unloaded it very quickly and placed it in the apartment just where we wanted. They were even accommodating when some things wouldn't fit in my mother's apartment and had to be shifted to mine. And then, when I discovered I hadn't gotten a full unpack like I intended, they were able to do a full unpack (with the appropriate added charge of course) on the fly. Communication with the home office was good and I was very pleased and comfortable with the whole process. Moving is never easy, but they made it as painless as possible.

We used North Dallas Moving & Storage to handle a move for us after a crane collapsed on our apartment complex. I first spoke to Rhonda Watson, the relocation coordinator, to set it all up and she was more than happy to help the residents and worked out a great price for us! I called on a Monday and schedule a move for that same Saturday. The communication was great before and after the move! She really cared that things went smoothly for us! Gary and his colleague were extremely nice & worked very hard! As they unloaded boxes into the house, my husband and I unpacked everything. Gary went the extra mile & broke down all of our boxes and disposed of all our trash. They also put together our beds, & moved a pre-existing large desk from downstairs to upstairs. There is typically an additional charge associated with this; however, due to the stressful situation we’d endured over the prior 2 months, they went above and beyond to help us out! We had a great experience with them & I would definitely use them again!

Excellent move as orchestrated by both (1) the move coordinator and (2) the personnel assigned to execute the move. Execution of the move require coordination with personnel required during the actual execution of the move. Move was executed, with all required personnel, in a professional, safe, and rapid manner, and to my satisfaction. And, post move follow-up the move coordinator was will appreciated.

I owe a big shout-out to NDMS. We used their company last week for our move and I have to say it was the best moving experience either of us have ever had. From the pre-move meeting to the rockstar crew on the big day, North Dallas Moving and Storage was a class act. The crew members were so professional and friendly, and most importantly they took great care of our belongings. I highly recommend NDMS to my friends and clients!

Unpacking now. More items broken in a cross city move than moving overseas 6 times. Can't say they really picked. More like three stuff in boxes. Look elsewhere before going with this moving company
